September 10 will see a new live event organized by Sony in Japan before the Tokyo Game Show.
The Sony PlayStation video show will last about an hour and will feature upcoming PS4 game footage.
The PlayStation LineUp Tour was presented as an event "in a vast universe that represents the world of PlayStation" and invites people to watch it "participate as a member of a DualShock 4 spacecraft team and cross different planets ".
What this means is guesswork, but players can probably expect a lot of videos devoted to popular games in the Japanese market.
The good news for fans hoping to see the live broadcast in the West is that Sony has provided a link in English for the press conference.
An article for this can be found in this article which will be posted in a few hours.
Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Tokyo Game Show will start around 10:30 am in the UK or 2:30 pm Pacific time.
At least one new game should be announced at the show, which will help launch this year's Tokyo Game Show.
We do not know what the title will be, but it is likely to be something for the regional market.
As for the games we already know, it is possible that images of The Last of Us 2 are broadcast, among other titles.
Ghost of Tsushima could be given a place of choice, alongside games like Kingdom Hearts 3.
It has also been announced that Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding will be featured at the Tokyo Game Show.
"Kojima Productions is back at # TokyoGameShow2018, with a show on September 23 starring Hideo Kojima and actors from the Japanese version," says a message from the studio's official Twitter page.
It's only later this month that it's possible that a new trailer or kind of new video will be shown during the live broadcast of today's PlayStation Tour.
There is still much to reveal about Death Stranding, so a new trailer would not be bad.
The exclusivity of the PS4 remains for the most part a mystery, although the fans had a big trailer during the E3 2018.
With Hollywood heavyweights Norman Reeds and Lea Seydoux, the new trailer featured some gameplay, as well as weird oddities we expected from Kojima.
The caravan shows a considerable amount of reeds that pass through desolate and spectacular landscapes, carrying various baggage across the mountains and fjords.
Again, we see giant footprints, looking like hands, invisible and menacing creatures that hunt Norman Reeds, as well as a gameplay showing Reedus avoiding fetus-looking wicks that catch him and drag it in the dust.
The horror of breathtaking sci-fi caught the attention of fans at the E3 conference, though it did not reveal a release date.
