Pokemon GO UPDATE: Confirmation of Mewtwo Raids, 7 km Egg Shifts and Gen 1 Raids for an Ultra Bonus

Pokemon GO Developers Niantic has finally revealed the Pokémon GO Ultra bonus for coaches and, unfortunately, if you were hoping for Shiny Mewtwo forums, that's bad news.

"In the past few months, many of you have worked hard to achieve the goals of Professor Willow's Global Research Challenge," said a new post on Pokemon GO.

"During the Safari Zone in Dortmund in June, Pokémon GO Fest in July and the Yokosuka Safari Zone in August, trainers from around the world did a variety of research assignments for Professor Willow with dedication and enthusiasm.

"And now, it's time to celebrate with a special Ultra Bonus event!"

There is a lot to unwrap, but keep reading for a full list of confirmed rewards for trainers.

"First, starting September 13 at 1:00 pm (Pacific time), coaches from around the world will be able to meet three legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto area!" Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres will appear in raids until the 20th of September.

"And if you're lucky, you may be able to meet their brilliant shapes! In addition, Pokémon discovered in the Kanto area will appear more frequently around the world and will appear more frequently until September 30!"

To confirm:

• Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres in the battles of September 13 at 1 pm and September 20th
• Increased Kanto region worldwide and new Kanto-specific raid bosses from September 13 to 30

"On September 20th at 1:00 pm (Pacific time), Mewtwo will be coming to the raids for the first time! Mewtwo was previously only available to EX raid trainers, but all trainers will now be able to challenge the legendary Pokemon Tap October 23 at 1:00 pm (Pacific time).

"So get ready and do not miss your chance to meet this powerful Pokémon before it disappears!"

To confirm:

• Mewtwo joins the normal raids for a month. We do not know if we will have a particular brilliance depending on how the raids worked for Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno.

"Finally, there is another special surprise: Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime and Tauros will join the Pokémon Alolan 7 km of eggs until the end of September!
