We have seen a slight rise in rumors of OnePlus 6T in recent weeks, but this was hardly surprising, given that the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to unveil its second mobile phone in 2018 in the second half. According to the report, the phone will look more like the Oppo R17 Pro than the iPhone X, with a drop-shaped notch, a three-lens camera system and a fingerprint sensor under the screen. We then saw a OnePlus 6T leak box that seemed to confirm the existence of the phone, its design, as well as several features. Since then, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 6T is under development and will have a feature without iPhone.

OnePlus says CNET that the OnePlus 6T will feature a fingerprint sensor inside the screen. Apple, meanwhile, should not add such sensors to the screen of the iPhone.

OnePlus will call the Screen Unlock feature, the company explained:

We unlock our phones several times a day, and unlocking the screen reduces the number of steps to complete the action. By adding this feature in addition to other display unlocking options such as Face Unlock, users will have the option to unlock the screen in the most efficient way for them.
