When the high-end audio company Master and Dynamic was launched in New York in 2014, it quickly became a producer of high-end headphones and speakers. While the company produces products for people with a little money in the bank, it has always delivered its products where it counts: each product tested with the hexagonal logo Master and Dynamic offers dynamic and dynamic sound.
Given our positive history with the brand, you can imagine our excitement when the company's first wireless headphones, the MW07, arrived for review. After a few weeks of listening, we are absolutely happy. Of course, we expected (and had) an amazing look, but we believe that this powerful and prominent sound gives those interested in the MW07 a real reason to open their wallet. At over a hundred dollars more than our favorite wireless headphones on the market, some may wonder: are they really worthy of consideration if you're not a great gamer? If you put audio quality above all – and love your wardrobe – we think they are.
Out of the box
The MW07 comes in an elegant box containing a shiny silver charging case, a USB Type-C charging cable, four different sized tips and an extra set of sports fins. There is also a black pouch to slide the charging case inside, so you want to keep it without fingerprints as much as possible between uses.
Inside the heavy metal case, you'll find two stunning polished acetate and stainless steel earphones, shaped like a D without a hole. The hexagonal Master and Dynamic logo is on the outside of each earpiece and four stylish colors are available. Our review units were incredibly beautiful gray terrazzo gray – akin to gray and brown granite – but they can also be black, steel blue, or tortoiseshell.

The helmet's acetate exterior rests on a smart black bottom with an integrated sport fin and end caps, and they stand out remarkably comfortably from their holster, with soft rubber preventing the helmet from touching your ears. .

Characteristics
The controls come in the form of three buttons on the top of the headphones. There is a multifunction button / play / pause on the right earphone, and volume controls up and down on the top left, each one being very easy to find and not jostling too much the headphones in your ears one can not not say many competitors.
The MW07 also has sensors that determine when you're removing the headphones and pausing your music, a nice touch, and a feature we'd like to see on more true wireless options.
The battery life is one of the few places where the MW07 has really bothered us, with only three and a half hours per charge, an hour and a half less than industry leaders such as Jabra and Apple. . Nevertheless, the charging box offers three additional charges, for a total of 14 hours of driving time, and offers a fast charging feature that allows the case to be transported at 50% of its 10.5 hour battery in just 15 minutes.
Install
The WM07 is equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, which allows quick and painless setup and a long listening range. To log in for the first time, simply turn on Bluetooth on your device and remove the headset from the charging box. Find them in the drop-down menu of your device and pair them. You are ready to go from there.

Performance
The punchy, vibrant sound of the MW07 makes it the most fun wireless headphones we've ever heard.
When you shoot at KAYTRANADA or Kendrick Lamar favorites, they tend to look at low-mid frequencies in the 100-300 Hz range, but the MW07s still seem to hold the right amount of high-end sounds. This is a rare feat in bass-heavy headphones, especially in the ears.
These top-of-the-line performances match perfectly with our recent Neil Young kick; we have never had so much fun listening Harvest on genuine wireless headphones, with shiny pedal steel and Young's signature vibrato pushing the mix, but still complemented by a nice, warm bass.
You absolutely get what you pay for.
There is not a kind of music to which the MW07 is poorly adapted. From jazz piano to classic classical rock to hip hop and electronic music, we have always been smiling when we were traveling.
Where many true wireless headphones can become tiring to listen to over time, we found that the MW07, while heavy, was still comfortable. The rubber ear cups and the soft rubber earbuds still kept the headphones securely in our ears and, as the company put the vast majority of the technology inside the outer shell, they did not have.
A secure fit also means that the headphones offer excellent passive noise isolation, which we found ineffective with many wireless headphones. With the MW07, we managed to block a good part of the outside world, making their excellent sound signature even more enjoyable.

Our take
The Master and Dynamic MW07 are really a pair of true wireless wireless speakers that have a fantastic sound. The beautiful look and the exceptional sound may not be worth the price of some, but you get what you pay for.
Is there a better alternative?
There are other wireless options that anyone considering the MW07 should check before pulling the trigger. The Jabra Elite Active 65t, which costs less than one hundred dollars and offers greater autonomy and better resistance to perspiration, is our favorite on the market. Those interested in a hyper-premium set of true wireless headphones at the same price may want to wait to discover Sennheiser's Momentum True Wireless, which will be released in November. However, if you are looking for the most beautiful of the group – and you do not want to wait – the MW07 is an excellent choice.
How long will it last?
All the products we have tested by Master and Dynamic have been manufactured with materials of excellent quality and have a very solid build quality, and the MW07 is no exception. We think they will last for many years of solid use.
Should you buy it?
It depends. If you're just after a pair of genuine in-ear wireless utilities, we think you should save some dough and grab a pair of Jabra Elite Active 65ts. But if you're a music-conscious music lover who wants fantastic sound and wireless comfort without having to look like one of those dolts with AirPod rods hanging on your ears, the MW07 from Master and Dynamic is a very solid option. They will not be for everyone, but those we see on the street with them will gain instant style points in our book.
