The Wii U was an excellent beta test for the Switch, but now, Nintendo is releasing all its games for this system on its real console. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is the last to receive this treatment. At a video event today, the editor revealed that the adventure of the platform originally launched in 2012 has a new chance to conquer the fans.

New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe launches January 11th. It features new playable characters Toadette and Nabitt.

New Super Mario Bros. U is the fourth game in the series New Super Mario Bros. launched in 2006 on DS. It's the first basic Mario game in high definition, and some think it's the best Mario game ever created. It's wrong. This is only the second best Super Mario Bros. after that of the Wii.

But New Super Mario Bros. U is a great game. He introduced the four-player cooperative multiplayer mode on Mario platforms. This made it great for the holidays. But the fashion was fast and frantic as it was easy to be frustrated and give up. With respect to 2D cooperative multiplayer platforms, Rayman Legends and Rayman Origins were much more accessible to a wider audience of players.

For solo players, New Super Mario Bros. U was even better. It involved difficult stages with a lot of creativity and variety. He introduced the flying squirrel costume. It even had New Super Luigi U extension for additional difficulties.

In 2012, however, the Wii U almost immediately disappeared. It was a confusing launch that mainstream consumers took as a gimmick controller for the Wii. This made it easy for fans to ignore New Super Mario Bros. U. But Nintendo did not do much to help the game. It was the fourth consecutive Mario game to use the new style of art. And even if I do not hate the appearance of these games, it's the most generic 2D Mario.

While the fans were burned on New Super Mario Bros. and have not been interested in the Wii U, the Switch has already exceeded its predecessor in less than 18 months. And now, the Switch has a thirsty audience of games that has never played games on Wii U. And New Super Mario Bros. U has another chance to win them.
