Move on Pokemon, because Game Freak officially unveiled a brand new game in development at the Nintendo Direct conference, simply titled Town.
This brand new RPG will put players in the shoes of an ordinary villager. Under the protection of a large castle, the village you lived in lived a long time. One day, monsters appear, trying to destroy the village you call home. In order to save your city, you will have to work with other villagers to repel the monsters' scam, while discovering the secrets of the small town.
The gameplay will be very similar to the previous games that Game Freak has created, with turn-based style attacks, various movement games, and type-specific enemies. Some situations will even allow you to summon other villagers to help them stop the monsters.
More information is expected in the coming months before the release of Towns, scheduled for 2019 on the Nintendo Switch.
