Apple Watch Series 4 now available for pre-order

In addition to the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, the Apple Watch Series 4 is now available for pre-order on the Apple online store and via the Apple Store app .

Apple Watch Series 4 marks the very first change in the design of the Apple Watch since its inception, with new models offering screens up to 30% larger and a smaller and thinner package. The new models are available in sizes 40 and 44 mm, ranging from 38 to 42 mm.



Several new watch faces were designed for the Apple Watch Series 4 to take advantage of the additional screen real estate, and all models now use a black ceramic and sapphire glass stand for better cellular service.

A dynamic feedback has been incorporated into the digital crown, which is also equipped with electrodes to activate a new feature that allows the watch to read an electrocardiogram (ECG). Inside, the Apple Watch Series 4 is equipped with a faster and more efficient S4 chip and an accelerometer and a new-generation gyroscope allowing the detection of fall. Despite the new features, the Series 4 models continue to offer 18 hours of battery life all day long.



Pre-orders for Apple Watch Series 4 cell models are available in Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.

Non-cellular Apple Watch Series 4 models are available for pre-order in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Luxembourg, the Netherlands. Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, British Virgin Islands, US and US.



Major US carriers – Verizon, AT & T, Sprint and T-Mobile – accept pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 4 LTE models, as do other operators around the world. Leading online retailers, including Best Buy and Target, also accept preorders from today.

The supplies of the Apple Watch Series 4 might be limited and the device could be in high demand as it is a major upgrade compared to the series 3, customers interested in same-day delivery should order as soon as possible.



The Apple Watch Series 4 models are available in silver, space gray and gold, in both aluminum and stainless steel. Apple offers several configurations and band options for Series 4, with a full list of options available here.

The first preorders of the Apple Watch Series 4 are expected to reach customers on Friday, September 21, the official launch date of the device. Nike + Series 4 models are available for pre-order but will not be shipped to customers until October 5th.
