Today, most players know that Square Enix has a healthy RPG library in a variety of systems. The September 13 edition of Nintendo Direct featured nearly 40 minutes of content. Towards the end of the Direct was revealed that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remastered will make his way to the Nintendo switch. The original game was released on the Nintendo GameCube and included a complementary application for the Game Boy Advance so that players could use their Game Boy to play the GameCube version.
The highlight here is that you do not need three additional Game Boy Advance systems to take part in RPG multiplayer role-playing games. Square and Nintendo have worked together so you can now use a combination of Joy-Con controllers or third-party devices to have fun in multiplayer. The developers have also set up an online multiplayer mode for up to four players. Even if you do not have anyone to play with locally, you can also play online on the new Nintendo network. The remastered edition of the game will be launched at some point in 2019.
But that does not stop with Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered. Square also brings others Final Fantasy games at the table, including Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD for the Nintendo switch.
It's a smaller and less graphic version of Final Fantasy XV, and it's already available for the Nintendo switch right now.
There is also World of Final Fantasy Maxima, which will also make its way to the Switch, with classic turn-based fights and is expected to be launched on November 6th. The game was released originally for PS4 and mobile devices a few years ago, so the Switch is a bit late for the party, but better late than never.
Another game added to the list is The mysterious dungeon of Chocobo, which is an isometric dungeon exploration game with playable Chocobo. The game should come out this winter.
If you missed Final Fantasy XII: The Age of the Zodiac, the game is expected to debut on the Nintendo Switch for the first time in 2019. It will feature the all-new fast-forward feature that will allow you to speed up the game.
