The challenges of the end of Destiny 2: Abandoned are in full swing, from Raid to Nightfall at Blind Well, the new public event that is going well despite the same twinning issues that all public events of this type have experienced in this series. The Blind Well also has the honor of hosting one of the first major problems / exploits / cheeses of the extension, or whatever you want to call it when players find a way around a given encounter. Read on to find out how it works because you can basically skip 80% of the game.
First, the configuration, which will be important to determine how this exploit works. The Blind Well has five stages, the first four of which are identical. They ask you to stay near a well while being assaulted by Scorn, and each Scorn you kill will fill the skylight and allow you to move on to the next well and eventually to the boss. So your ability to progress through these early stages depends on your ability to kill a group of enemies. I have it?
Longtime players of both Destiny 2 and the original destiny we will remember the Telesto, an exotic fusion rifle that fires purple goo globes that attach to enemies and then explode. It's a great little article and I've used it in the original game. Here's the thing, though: apparently, the game sets each goo ball as an enemy, and when they explode, they die. This means that you can "kill" a group of "enemies" in no time, even with a single Telesto, and more than one player with the rifle can deny each turn as soon as it starts . I've played twice in Blind Well: the counter starts at 50% and hits 100% in seconds.
Note that this will not solve the problem of the blind: you still have to do the boss phase, and these guys have a health that can be difficult for small groups or groups without high enough light levels. . I still have not managed to finish level 3 even with this glitch, though the glitch certainly helped to smooth out those previous parts. If you have what it takes to clear levels 1 and 2, however, the problem can help you master a whole series in a matter of moments.
If that sounds lame, it's sort of, but it's Destiny classic cheese. Sometimes half of this game plays the game and half of this game is not to play. We pushed the bosses off the cliffs with grenades, we disconnected the LAN cables, we got stuck in strange little holes and we picked up the bosses with sniper rifles refreshing the ammo. If you are new here, the hunt for feats is a major activity for some of the base players, and this becomes their own challenge. Expect this to be corrected soon, and wait for people to find something else soon after.
