Armada announced his retirement in a video posted on YouTube today. The Swedish player is a player from Peach and Fox who is widely regarded as the best Peach player of all time. Fans know him as one of the "five gods" of Melee: Armada, Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma, Joseph "Mango" Marquez, Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman and Kevin "PPMD" Nanney. The 25-year-old has been competing in Smash Bros. since 2007.

Armada said that he would continue to play in duplicate Melee matches, but leaves the singles. "I feel almost to the point where I feel physically sick when I go into singles, where I really do not want to do it," Armada said. "I have invested a lot in this game."
