In October of last year, when World of Warcraft players knew that a new expansion was imminent, but still bypassed the game data to understand what it would be like, a faked image called the World of Warcraft extension: Tides of Vengeance. For a day, there was speculation about a navy-themed expansion with Queen Azshara, the Naga, and the old god N & # zoth. Until it is shown as a fake.

I'm raising this issue because Blizzard Entertainment today unveiled patch 8.1 titled Tides of Vengeance. I do not know if the title has always been planned or a smart Blizzard prank, but no matter, 8.1 is here to solve a number of problems faced by players with Battle for Azeroth. So, let's dive into everything they've revealed.

First, Tides of Vengeance will continue the Battle for Azeroth story with quests centered on the former Horde member, Saurfang, the fallen Night Elf Leader Tyrande, and the former Warlord of War. the Horde, Vol. jin. The first two characters have already seen significant changes in Battle for Azeroth, while Vol & jin died in Legion and exists only as a spirit.

Blizzard also brings back the excellent Legion invasion system with Battle for Azeroth forays. These incursions will see the opposing faction directly attacking the Horde and Alliance area. Like invasions, incursions can be used to level your alternative characters, which has been a problem with new Allied races.

Speaking of allied races, the Zandalari trolls and the Kul Tiran humans are just around the corner. You must become Exalted with the Zandalari Empire or the Proudmoore Amirality to unlock them, but beyond that, the complete quest chain should be put online after the next raid.

Next raid? Yes, Blizzard also announced not one, but two upcoming raids. The first will be the seat of Zuldazar, tentatively appointed, which will have nine bosses concentrated around the capital Zandalari. Continuing the different leveling experience of Battle for Azeroth, Zuldazar will have two different raid experiences, whether you are Horde or Alliance. The Alliance will land on the southern quays of the city and will ascend the central pyramid until the final encounter with King Zandalari Rastakhan. The Horde will start on the north side of the city, meet Rastakhan in the middle of the raid, and then head for the wharves to repel the Alliance. Each faction will have three unique bosses, although the opposing faction may fight them once the raid version is complete.

The second raid has a much smaller reach. The crucible of storms lies beneath the Stormsong Valley, continuing the history of the former god's corruption in this region. Crucible comes after Zuldazar and will have only two bosses. Blizzard also promised a new story before the raid, allowing Horde and Alliance players to know what they're accomplishing in the game's plot.

The new Warfront system is also growing stronger. In a recent AMM Reddit, Ion Hazzikostas, director of Battle for Azeroth, promised that the Warfront would overlap to solve the problem of the long cycle between factions. The next Warfront will be The Battle for Darkshore, right next to the Teldrassil envelope. This front will be centered on the Night Elves against the Forsaken, and the Alliance will attack the first.

Another area that Hazzikostas has already highlighted for further improvements and improvements was the Island Expeditions. There will be two new cards added to the rotation, Jorundall and Havenswood. Jorundall is on the theme of Vykrul, while Havenswood is an island of Gilnea with the feeling "dark". New upcoming events are also coming, such as Azeri extractions, which result in a slow draw of Azerite, but need to be protected. The developer also promised that new shipments of the island will be modified to regroup the nearest enemies, rather than spreading them all over the map.

Finally, patch 8.1 will bring many improvements to the quality of life. Heritage Armor will be added for blood elves and dwarves, marking the first versions of race-specific armor for the old WoW races. If you are a maximum level character and Exalted with your own city, the quest line for armor will be automatically unlocked. Others will come in the future. The reputation of the champions of Azeroth is now at the scale of the account, and the meta-performance of Reputed Reputations will also become an account. Blizzard will also remove a number of old reputation locks that hinder the armor of faction transmogs.

Patch 8.1, Tides of Vengeance, is coming very soon to the public test realms. The live launch will follow the test period, later in the year.
