Capcom has revealed new details about the upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake, especially its history and the issue of double campaigns. Along with this, the company released a new TGS trailer, revealing the updated looks of Ada Wong and Annette Birkin, fan favorites. The game should be launched on January 25, 2019.
The next remake will include two main campaigns that players can select. However, unlike the original game, players will not end up between the main characters Leon and Claire. Indeed, Capcom chose not to use the zapping system and you will play as a single character from beginning to end. Capcom however ensures fans that the gaming experience of both campaigns is unique and worth it.
Although zombies are the enemies you will encounter initially, various bio-weapons and non-human enemies will also appear throughout the game. The trailer features a mutated William Birkin, as well as zombie dogs, but the classic giant crocodile, the macabre Lickers, and a scary Mr. X should also appear at some point.
