Samsung's first triple phone is ready for its close-up, ultra-wide angle.

The Korean electronics giant unveiled Wednesday its latest Galaxy A7, a mid-range smartphone with a triple rear camera with three settings, including a 120-megapixel. The triple camera offer was considered a major feature of Galaxy S10 Plus next year.

The new handset camera also includes a standard 25-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel depth lens that allow users to control the depth of field and adjust the bokeh effect that adds that blurry image to the around the subject of the image. The 24 megapixel lens also promises crisp images in low light conditions by combining 4 pixels into 1 pixel.

Phones with triple cameras are quite rare. the Huawei P20 Pro has three cameras at the back, offering high quality shots from a distance. Samsung Mobile President DJ Koh said earlier this month, the company was bringing advanced features to the company's midrange phones. The Galaxy A7 – a brand Samsung recycles every year – seems to be the first device to deliver on its promise.

The Galaxy A7 also has another 24-megapixel camera on the front of the handset with an adjustable LED flash.

The handset has a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, a side fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos audio system. It will also be preinstalled with Samsung's virtual voice assistant Bixby, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health.

The A7 will be available this fall in Europe and Asia in four colors: blue, black, gold and pink. Additional markets are expected, but prices have not been disclosed and Samsung has not immediately responded to a request for comment.
