Apple Watch Edition may have been around for a long time, but that does not mean that Apple has eliminated all the premium watch offerings in its lineup. AppleInsider is moving ahead with the very high price of the Apple Watch Hermes series of $ 1300 and up, to see what will cost you more.

There are a number of Hermes configurations, but we chose the stainless steel case with the Indigo / Chalk / Orange Swift Single Tour band.

The box

The premium experience starts with the box.

A textured cardboard box is on the outside, Hermès orange sports signature. Two boxes slide from the inside, one housing the watch and the components, the other the grouped band.

Each Hermes Apple Watch Series 4 comes not only with the leather strap provided, but also with an orange sports group.

The magnetic loading puck (stainless steel case rather than the plastic that comes with the Apple Watch in aluminum) and a 5 watt wall charger are also hidden.

The group

All Hermes groups are excellent. They are made of super soft leather and are extremely comfortable. Other leather bands may take a while to wear, but not these, no matter which one you are taking.

Our Swift Single Tour Band is a two part installation, with stainless steel ears and a stainless steel buckle. The buckle is printed with the Hermès logo.

Several other styles are available, but they all have a similar level of quality.

Exclusive faces

Alongside the groups, the other aspect that distinguishes the Hermès watch from the classic models is the exclusive Hermès dial.

You can change the face font, the number of digits displayed, the center complication, and the style / color.

As a nice touch, there are different styles and colors to match each of the different groups. We have the Indigo / Chalk / Orange group and an Indigo / Crai face (off-white).

So what do you really have when picking up Apple Watch Hermes?

You get the exclusive face, the leather strap and the sports group. Otherwise, it's the same Apple Watch Series 4 stainless steel cell phone available with Apple's tapes and straps.
