A new mysterious Pokémon appears in Pokémon Go

A new creature appeared in Pokemon Go, and no one seems quite sure what it is or what it does.

Yesterday, IGN reported that a data miner had extracted a new potential Pokémon from Pokemon Go. In this morning, Eurogamer and IGN both reported that the regional events of the Chikorita Community Day in the Asia-Pacific region and in the European region ended with the flood of players with a mysterious new creature that could not be captured .

He has no name. He looks like the ghost emoji with an industrial nut for a head. When players capture it, it turns into Ditto, a famous Pokémon to be turned into other Pokémon. As a common thread on the Pokemon Go Reddit shows, people are both stunned and frustrated at not being able to catch this strange little creature.

Kento Suga, Global Marketing Manager for Pokemon Gosimply tweeted a single picture of the pokemon with "???" as text. It is clear that something official (and suspicious) is going on with this thing.

Unfortunately, all we know about this Pokémon is that we do not know anything.
