One of the biggest complaints about the PlayStation Now service (apart from the price of course) was the inability to play games properly offline. Sony has also implemented the ability to copy online backups to your cloud and use them locally when reading offline. This is a nice little feature that Valve implemented in Steam some time ago. Microsoft also lets you capture cloud backups through your Xbox Live profile, and when it's time to play offline, you can do it without any problem.
The ability to play offline PS Now games is likely to be a significant benefit for the digital service as not everyone has a stable internet connection, or sometimes the connection is bad depending on the time or weather. Be able to bypass the streaming option and download the game directly to your hard drive.
This makes the Sony service much more acceptable to those who would have observed it, but who did not want to lose $ 99 a year due to an unstable network connection or an unreliable ISP.
