Tidbit of TGS info
The switching port of Dragon Quest XI was hinted months before the system reached the store shelves. We know this happens, but since the announcement, Square Enix has remained unobtrusive on the highly anticipated port. At Tokyo Game Show 2018, we just received some information about the upcoming game. According to the developer, the game will have the name Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S. By Yuji Hori, the "s" will mean: Switch, Special, Seiyuu (voice actor) and Shaberu (speaking). I imagine that means that the Japanese port will include a voice, which the original PlayStation 4 did not do.
Sadly, it's all we have. There is still no word of release date or trailer to show us exactly what this game will look like.
Square Enix has just announced "Dragon Quest XI S" for Switch. No indication of release date, but S, according to the developers, indicates "Switch" "Special" "Character voices (shaberu, in Japanese) as well as" Initial of voice actor "." But S does not mean small, "the firm says. pic.twitter.com/y6VFVwJBdV
