Just when you thought Samsung was cleaning and consolidating its phone lines along the S, A and M brands, a certain Galaxy P30 comes with this theory. It would be exclusive to China, to be fair, but it was also supposed to present something that the Galaxy S10 will not have until next year. But now, it seems that there is a little more in the history of the Galaxy P30, which makes the situation more confusing in the grand scheme of Samsung.
Unlike initial leaks from other sources, the Galaxy P30 will not use a fingerprint sensor. This comes from MMDDJ_, who first spoke to us about the existence of the phone. There is no mention of the Galaxy P30 +, however, and there is always a chance that could have a FOD.
So, if the Galaxy P30 does not beat the Galaxy S10 in this game, what is it then? Apparently another Samsung high-end phone with a difference: it will have a lower price. SamMobile sources claim that it will have 64 to 128 GB of internal storage while MMDDJ_ will add that it will have 6 GB of RAM. The Galaxy P30 also sports Samsung's new love for gradients, with basic colors available in blue, pink, black and red.
So here's where things are going to be. The Galaxy S (and probably the Galaxy Note) will still be the premium line of Samsung. The Galaxy A will be the company's new playground to bring new technologies and features to the fore. The Galaxy M will be the budget phones. The Galaxy P will be somewhere between S and A and probably only for China.
