Surface Pro and Laptop Surface can only receive bumps.

They would represent considerably better values, at least. Apart from an entry-level Surface Pro based on the Core M, all new machines would use the Intel 8th generation quad-core processors. Microsoft may not be as stingy with memory. Although the Core-M Pro still has 4 GB of RAM, all other configurations include at least 8 GB of RAM – you will not pay a high price for a system that has trouble managing even a moderate workload. If there is a problem, it is that the Surface Laptop 2 input can be delivered with a modest SSD of 128 GB.

These updates would probably not be the only new Surface hardware used by Microsoft. If true, though, the scoop suggests that you will not see the company making radical changes to every aspect of its lineup. In some cases, it may be that we just booster speed. It can be even better than what you have seen in the past. Microsoft has not touched Surface Pro or the Surface Book entry between their 2015 and 2017 introductions – here, devices would stay at least reasonably up to date between major updates.
