The Galaxy A6 (2018) lands at AT & T a few months too late

Samsung just announced last week its most "innovative" smartphone in the A series and is about to unveil its most eccentric next week. But while all this is happening, AT & T just got a medium sized Samsung phone that seems almost too late. While the Galaxy A6 (2018) had just been announced last May and was available in the US last month, it could just as easily have been launched last year.

To be fair, the Galaxy A6 is a "real" midrange phone in every sense of the word. You get a 1.6GHz quad core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and only 32GB of happily expandable storage. The 5.6-inch screen only receives a resolution of 1480 × 720 18.5: 9. There is only one 16-megapixel camera on the back with a camera of 16 megapixels in the front.

If you need a regular smartphone, it's a no-frills smartphone, no nonsense. It does not even have a double camera, not to mention the triple cameras of the Galaxy A7 (2018) or the almost ridiculous four Galaxy A9 Star / Pro that has yet to be announced. Again, not everyone loves this kind of superfluous features.

They might also not be in overpriced phones. Unlike the unlocked commercial version of the Galaxy A6 (2018), the AT & T version will cost you $ 419.99 for the full price. Of course, you can opt for a 30-month payment plan that reduces this amount into small monthly payments of $ 14.
