A prestigious event returns in December
Although Sony Interactive Entertainment seized the opportunity last week to announce its intention not to experience the PlayStation experience this year, they have also just announced a date for the 2018 PlayStation Awards giveaway.
The event will be held Dec. 3 at the Grand Prince New Tanakawa Hotel in Japan. A variety of titles will receive awards based on their successful sales. This includes a cash prize for games exceeding 500,000 units, and gold for those who scored the lucky million. The top three PSN titles will also receive applause.
The other categories will include PSVR, the independent titles and the user choice award, voted by the Japanese PlayStation community. If you want to attend the festivities yourself, the event will be broadcast live on YouTube for all. Who would get your vote this year?
