October has arrived and this probably means a whole new set of Apple hardware updates. Last month was packed with iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, Apple Watch Series 4, iOS 12, watchOS 5, tvOS 12 and macOS Mojave. This month, iPhone XR, cheaper and more colorful, will hit the market and other hardware and software updates are expected, including big news for iPad and Mac, or even an event Apple in October.

October Apple Event?
Apple hosted its annual iPhone and Apple Watch event in September, but the Mac and iPad Pro hardware has not been updated. There are a lot of rumors on Mac and iPad, and Apple used October to show updates of these products.
Apple could still release new material with a press release and private press briefings, but a redesigned iPad and a brand new MacBook certainly call time for the stage.
If Apple is organizing an event in October this year, when should we expect it to happen? Two years ago, Apple held its second fall event on October 27 (Thursday) after it announced Oct. 19 (Wednesday).
This year, the iPhone XR could be a clue …
Launch of the iPhone XR
The iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max were launched on September 21, but the iPhone XR requires a little more production time before its release. Pre-orders will begin Friday, Oct. 19 (with iPhone XR in stores and will reach customers a week later, Oct. 26).
Organizing an event around October 16th could mean that other new materials could be pre-ordered and released on the same dates as the iPhone XR, simply speculating at this point.
When the iPhone XR will be launched, it will offer customers an iPhone X-Style Phone with Face ID and full screen display without the price of the iPhone X. The iPhone X starts to $ 749 versus $ 999 and up for the iPhone XS. The iPhone XR also includes six color options: black, white, red, yellow, blue and coral.
This phone will probably be extremely popular. Faster than the iPhone X and a major overhaul of the iPhone 8 and earlier versions. It also has a large 6.1-inch screen that will display the same amount of content as the very expensive iPhone XS Max.
iPad Pro Redesign
We expect to see two versions of the iPad Pro launched this month: a new size of 11 inches and a redesigned size of 12.9 inches. This is going to be a huge upgrade for the iPad Pro.
Both models are supposed to feature face ID and all-screen design without a notch, interrupt the Touch ID and maybe even change the smart connector and eventually replace the Lightning port with a USB-C port.
iPad Pro is currently available in two sizes: 10.5 inches and 12.9 inches. The smaller version replaced the original 9.7-inch iPad Pro while the 12.9-inch version persisted for two generations.
This year, Apple should reduce the dimensions of the 12.9-inch version to create a smaller case while replacing the 10.5-inch model by the 11-inch version in full-screen. This is probably the right call because the larger version is certainly big and heavy now – less visible factors on the smaller version.
Mac Update
If you're on the market for a new Mac, this month could finally bring answers to many questions about the current lineup. Apple upgraded the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro in July, adding True Tone display, Hey Siri, and higher base options without event. At least one new Mac design could be presented this month, which is worth it to be presented.
MacBook
Apple is currently manufacturing a computer simply called MacBook – the 12-inch Retina version – and a 13-inch version that replaces the MacBook Air might be on the way. The rumor has been around for a while, with prices between $ 1000 and $ 1500, and a recent rumor that Touch ID (without the touch bar) will be available suggests that it will not be entry-level.
One of the great mysteries of this Mac is what happens to the MacBook Air, the 12-inch MacBook and the MacBook Pro without touchbar. The last two Macs start at $ 1299 and the MacBook Air, as it is, has been haunted for years.
Mac mini
Speaking of Mac that have not been touched for years, this is especially true for the Mac mini. If you enter an Apple Store and buy a brand new Mac mini in 2018, you buy hardware from 2014. We anticipate that the Mac mini will be updated this fall with modern specifications that could see its price rise.
iMac
The iMac should also be the subject of an update and at least one rumor says that new material will include one way or another of "significant improvements in the display performance ". The rumor precedes the MacBook Pro's True Tone display, which adjusts the color temperature according to the ambient lighting, although it is not very clear that it only affects True Tone on the iMac.
Apple updated the iMac range in June 2017 as part of its WWDC event, and iMac Pro was launched on the market in December 2017. It is possible that we will have updates to both versions. month. and the machine is less than a year old at this stage.
More likely, the iMac Pro could be updated with the introduction of the Mac Pro 2019. The 2019 Mac Pro is not a rumor but rather a product that Apple has already announced without unveiling it.
This desktop-free Mac will replace the 2013 Mac Pro and feature a modular design – and Apple is preparing a new professional display as part of its commitment to business users.
Software
We are expecting a few software updates this month that will bring new features to the latest hardware.
iOS 12.1 will provide live preview of portrait mode depth control on iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max cameras, as well as dual SIM card support with supported operators.
watchOS 5.1 Introduce the new ECG application on Apple Watch Series 4 in the US, which will allow you to take an electrocardiogram of your heart authorized by the FDA. The Health app on the iPhone under iOS 12.1 will allow you to share the results with your doctor in a PDF document.
FaceTime Group will probably debut with iOS 12.1 and macOS 10.14.1. The feature is currently in beta on both platforms after being removed from iOS 12 and MacOS MoOS betas during the summer. Group FaceTime allows you to make video and audio calls with up to 32 users with the ability to easily join and leave calls with the help of iMessage.
More
Nobody knows exactly when AirPower will be ready. Since its launch in September 2017, AirPower has not changed its target in 2018, but has not been marketed in the last 12 months.
There is a lot of evidence that the launch of AirPower is imminent – the code in iOS 12.1 beta, the manual of the iPhone XS, and the change of the Milanese loop for Apple Watch Series 4 – but the silence of Apple is eloquent .
AirPods updates are also underway with a "Hey Siri" feature to activate the voice assistant without a tapping pat, but the AirPods wireless charging box that has already been shown probably depends on the debut of AirPower.
