Anyone can create is designed to allow teachers to easily incorporate creativity into their existing lesson plans in all subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, history, art history social studies and coding. The guide series teaches students to develop ideas through drawing, music, video and photos on iPad.
Apple's marketing director, Phil Schiller:
We believe that Apple technology can help unlock the creative genius of every child. Working closely with teachers, we developed the "Everyone Can Create" program to help integrate creative expression and the arts into the classroom and help students stay engaged through creativity and better succeed.
Apple says that since the publication of an overview of Everyone can create in March, more than 350 schools around the world have adopted this program.
Apple stores also use Everyone can create in their Tuesday sessions of teachers. On Tuesday, 504 stores in 24 countries have already delivered more than 5,000 hands-on sessions to teachers on topics such as coding and application design, video and music creation, and creative visual presentations, according to Apple.
Everyone can create includes four student guides for drawing, music, video and photos, freely available in Apple Books. An accompanying teacher's guide helps to make these projects a reality, with 300 lesson ideas on different materials, projects and topics.
