There is a lot to like about the new iPhone XS (details) and iPhone XS Max (details). But both lighthouses suffer of a serious problem which has also begun to have an impact on older models, and

Today, Apple released iOS 12.1 beta 2 and, despite the fact that the software no official release notes, iFan iMore website immediately ad the update includes a fix for the load the woes introduced in iOS 12. But all is not good news.

While iMore was obviously promotional about the fix ("With it, no more delays or uncertainty about loading, you'll be back to just plug it in and get power."), Rene Ritchie of the site told Users should not expect a final release for owners of iPhone and iPad before the end of October.
Since iOS 12 was released on September 17, it's more than a month to solve a problem that inhibits (what tests suggest) represents a large proportion of the iPhone in charge.
That said, the good news following iMore's advice is that initial tests iOS 12.1 beta 2 on the iPhones and iPads involved resulted in a normal charge. This is particularly positive after reports Apple tech support told affected users that they needed to replace their devices.
So why did not Apple admit this fault directly?
Because that's not how Apple works on contentious issues. As popular YouTuber Brands Brownlee perfectly abstract:
"They are pretty well known for not really managing it, they will distance themselves as much as possible from considering it as a possible problem and will just make a statement about how we use it badly."
Of course, the Apple patch is largely back to Lewis Hilsenteger – aka Unbox Therapy – who used his platform of 12 million YouTube subscribers to highlight the problem (video above) and, as the Brownlee notes, "Force Apple … to answer and solve the problem and for the products to improve and we all win. "
As for the victory, it is becoming increasingly clear that those waiting for the Apple iPhone XR stand will make the most of it. The new model offers not only the best quality price report and superior battery life on the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, it will also be launched alongside iOS 12.1.
It's a good timing …
