With the official revelation of the Toyota Supra so close, one might think that public car test sightings would decrease, but it seems to be quite the opposite that is true. While we are certain to disappoint you with the absence of an OMP wheel, carbon fiber door panels and a full roll bar in the Supra showroom, it should definitely remain of what captivate fans of sports cars around the world. , no matter the faithful Toyota. And if that's not the case, you'll probably be able to buy all sorts of upgrades from manufacturers or possibly a high-end Supra GR for the street, but probably not right now.
We know all this because at this stage there is little imagination on this decidedly long revelation. Toyota told us that a Supra compliant GR specification would arrive someday, and a track-only model is also confirmed. With regard to the standard production Supra, we know that it will be offered with four-cylinder and six-cylinder in-line engines. We know that it will only offer an eight-speed automatic transmission. Heck, we even drove the prototype, although Toyota retains key stats Supra until the car is officially revealed.
Until then, camouflaged pre-production models are still in use, drawing the attention of photographers at every opportunity. The GR model wearing the red / gray / white envelope was taken at the Nürburgring, although the gravel adjustment suggests that Toyota representatives were trying to keep its presence at a very low level.
