Greetings, Arsians! Thanks to our friends from TechBargains, we have another series of business to share. Today's list is marked by the handful of pre-order contracts offered for Google's Pixel 3 phones, which the tech giant launched earlier this week.
Now, our first impressions of the new material are not incredibly positive and we recommend waiting until the end of our review before making a judgment if you are on the fence. If you only want to buy from Google, however, some special offers are available. Verizon has reached an agreement with BOGO that will eventually provide a $ 800 discount on a second Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL phone, while Best Buy offers a $ 100 gift card in store with a purchase. Google's Project Fi also offers a $ 799 credit offer to new users.
As usual, these offers come with heavy caveats. The Best Buy offer only concerns new activations from Verizon – not those who have just purchased the unlocked phone – and requires a monthly payment plan. The "$ 800 discount" at Verizon and Best Buy, meanwhile, takes the form of 24 monthly billing credits, valued at $ 33.33 per month. That means you'll always pay for two phones and you'll have to stick with Verizon and Pixel 3 for two years to get all the funds back. The Project Fi Agreement requires that you have an existing member in a group plan and that you purchase two Pixel 3 devices; at this time, the $ 799 credit will be assigned to a new user added to the same plan.
So, yes, not the simplest thing. But if you get a Pixel 3 anyway with Verizon, the refund is always a refund. However, if you prefer not to take care of it, we also have offers on Grado headphones, cult favorites, Nvidia Shield TV, Dell laptops, etc.
