Microsoft Provides Solutions for HP Blue Screen PCs After Windows 10 1809 and 1803 Upgrades

Microsoft applies a hotfix (KB4468304) through its Windows Update service that will remove the offending HP keyboard driver, version 11.0.3.1. Here's how it will be available:
Microsoft will automatically download the 4468304 Knowledge Base to remove the faulty HP driver through Windows Update. You can also install the KB manually via Microsoft Update Catalog.
People who already have HP devices with a blue screen will have the chance to have Windows automatically repair the device after a reboot. Otherwise, they will have to follow the recovery process, using advanced installation support or troubleshooting by administrators running DISM commands, as described in the Microsoft technical support article.
HP offers this support article, which lists two problems that may occur after the Windows 10 October 2018 update, namely the lack of sound and the problem of the blue screen.
