Fortnite fans may have had a first look at the Battle Royale donation system.
The donation system has been in development for centuries, while Epic continues to tweak the feature before it's launched.
But a new leak on Twitter suggests that the gift feature is about to be released by Epic Games – perhaps with the 6.03 update.
Presumed footage of the feature film in action was posted on the site Jaren Twitter page.
The clip – which you can see below – shows Jaren choosing to buy the item as a gift and then personalize it with a message.
It is unclear if the footage is legitimate, but it seems that you can select recipients in your friends list.
There also seems to be some kind of time restriction on the number of gifts you can send.
The next major Fortnite update is expected to be launched on Wednesday, October 24th.
Fortnite numbered updates are published every two weeks. A smaller content update is started between the two.
This week's update added the limited-time Disco Domination mode, as well as the Quad rocket launcher.
As its name indicates, the rocket launcher Quad unleashes a barrage of rockets at unsuspecting enemies.
The update was followed by a new batch of weekly challenges, including a selection of time trial missions.
