Apple Seeds fourth beta of iOS 12.1 for developers

Apple today launched the fourth beta release of an upcoming iOS 12.1 developer update, a week after the third beta release and a month after the release of IOS 12, a new release major iOS software.

iOS 12.1 includes several new features that, according to Apple, would be offered to iPhone XS and XS Max. The beta introduces support for eSIM, a digital SIM card that allows you to activate a cellular plan from an operator without having to use a physical SIM card.

Operators will need to implement support for eSIM, which is likely after the release of iOS 12.1. In the US, AT & T, Verizon and T-Mobile will support eSIM.

The iOS 12.1 update brings a new real-time depth control feature, which lets you adjust the depth of field of your photos in portrait mode before capturing them. At present, in iOS 12, depth control is only available for post-capture editing.

The update also adds more than 70 new emoji to iPhone and iPad, with options including red hair, gray hair, curly hair, a cold face, a festive face, a face with hearts, mango, kangaroo, peacock, lobster, cupcake and more. .

For bug fixes, iOS 12.1 fixes a load issue that could prevent iPhone and iPad models running iOS 12 from loading when connected to a Lightning cable while the screen was off and fixing a bug which led to the preference of 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks for 5 GHz networks, resulting in a slower speed of WiFi connections.
