The long-awaited Hydrogen One phone from Red will be launched in a few weeks. But a recently disclosed technical sheet now tells us what we can expect from the long-awaited handset.
The Hydrogen One from Red will be delivered with a 5.7-inch screen, according to the technical sheet obtained by UberGizmo. Of course, it will include visuals in 2D, but it will also propose what the company calls a H4V LCD. Its resolution will be 2560 x 1440 and will offer 515 pixels per inch.
In addition to that, Red's phone will support the recording of photos and videos in H4V holographic format. The company also promises "A3D surround surround sound" with its built-in speakers. These speakers are oriented towards the front and are placed under the chin of the handset.
Moving towards the front of the device, you will find two front cameras with an 8.3 megapixel sensor capable of capturing content at 3840 x 2160. There is a headphone jack at the top of the smartphone, in function of the leak, and a double-SIM and microSD slot next to it. A fingerprint sensor will be placed on the side of the device to access the contents.

Looking at the back of the device you will notice a big camera hump where you will find two cameras with a 12.3 megapixel sensor. There is also an LED flash and a flashlight component at the back. The back of the case is made of aluminum and Kevlar to protect it if you drop it and the sides are scalloped to help you hold it. A battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh is also inside.
It can be argued that the most important feature is a modular expansion connector on the back. There you can connect other components to extend the functionality of the device. The leaked document also reveals that the smartphone has 128 GB of internal storage and runs on 6 GB of RAM.
It is interesting to note that the leak does not know which processor to expect. Some reports have indicated that it would work on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, which was shipped in 2017, but hope that Red will opt for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 that we can find in other high end handsets.
Overall, the smartphone has an impressive sound. But we will know for sure what he proposes on November 2, when the device will go on sale at $ 1,195.
