Days were delayed from two months until April 2019

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a new release date for some of its upcoming projects, including Days Gone.

The release of Days Gone was confirmed in February 2019, but the carryover has been postponed to April 26, 2019, as Sony confirmed today. According to the official blog announcing the delay, this was done to give Sony Bend time to "tweak" the game.

Concrete Genie and Everybody's Golf for Spring 2019 are some of the other major projects. The first project from From Software for the PlayStation VR is Uprooted, which will be released on November 6, 2018 exclusively for the PS4.

According to rumors, the launch of Days Gone would have occurred in 2018, but the launch was officially announced on February 22, 2019. This new delay pushes the date to April and gives it two months of additional development that will be used to refine the game .

Days Gone is a survival horror game based on the open world, created by Bend Studio of Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was revealed at the E3 2016. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world of survival horror where the infected wander as sects and secret gangs have formed.

Days Gone uses Unreal Engine 4 to create a dynamic open world with a day and night cycle. It will be available exclusively on the PS4 on April 26, 2019.
