The opinion of Shadow of the Tomb Raider is bombarded because of 34% off

Andy last month called Shadow of the Tomb Raider "one of the best modern adventures of Lara Croft" and, until this week, fans generally seemed to agree with this view, he giving rather positive reviews on Steam. Criticism was then bombarded, with most disgruntled fans citing a one – week sale, worth 34%, which ends tomorrow, as a reason for criticism.

After reading some of the 600 reviews published since the sale (66% are negative), the main reasoning is that it is unfair to have paid the high price for the game, pre-order or launch. only to see it highly discounted so soon after.

Most do not seem to worry about whether the game is good or not, and many do not even comment on it. "Feel like a fool to have pre-ordered," they say simply. Another negative comment reads: "The game is good, but never pre-order a Square Enix game."

Although I can understand this frustration, I would not have done otherwise. The fact that games go on sale as quickly and regularly is one of the things I love most about PC gaming. This is yet another reason why you should be careful not to order anything in advance.

There are, of course, legitimate reviews in magazines, some pointing to sound and visual bugs, while others simply were not content with history or combat. But overall, I still think it's worth playing, and if you're fast, you can buy it with this 34% discount. That's $ 39.59 / £ 29.69 on Steam.
