Even before the launch of their 2018 phones by Apple and Google, we suspected that new iPhones would crush Pixel 3 phones during speed and performance testing. This is because Apple launches more and more chips every year and the competition is struggling to keep up. This does not help Google rely on Qualcomm chips rather than on its internal designs. The iPhone XR may have a lower screen and camera than its XS brother, but all 2018 iPhones offer the same performance, thanks to this super-fast A12 Bionic chip. When it came to opening games, the iPhone XR needed 12.3 seconds to open Tekken, while the Pixel 3 XL did it in 21 seconds. The iPhone XR has loaded Asphalt 9 in 4.98 seconds and the Pixel 3 XL in 6.4 seconds.
