Red Dead Redemption 2 puts the players in more difficult times than the Dutch Van der Linde gang. As a key member, the adventures of the main character Arthur Morgan will allow him to carry out crucial missions to preserve the health and wealth of its members. Along the way, players will also have the opportunity to spend time with the various gang members of the camp by performing activities such as hunting or shopping outings.
These side missions, although not critical for the main story, provide a lot of characterization and color to the overall experience. However, many of them can be time sensitive in their availability. The RDR 2 does not say it very clearly, but if you leave it too long to continue the main missions, or other related activities, it may disappear. At times, the progression of history will isolate you from these small missions and you will not want to miss them.
It is easy to distinguish between what is in the main path and what is not, because the missions centered on the main narrative appear as yellow icons on the map. The activities of the camp however appear in the form of white icons. They can be hard to see from time to time, so be sure to check regularly by displaying the map and giving it a good inspection. As mentioned earlier, these missions may be your only opportunity to spend time with people who do not steal trains and shoot outlaws on behalf of the Van der Linde gang, but their missions are nonetheless useful.
Review of Red Dead Redemption 2 GameSpot is online, and the game has received a 9/10. Kallie Plagge says it's "a great prequel, but it's also a moving, thought-provoking story – and it's a world that's hard to leave when finished."
