Apple is expected to announce a new iPad, an Apple pencil and probably new iMacs at its October event at 10 am Eastern Time. AppleInsider shows you how to follow what is happening at this highly anticipated product launch.
AppleInsider will cover Apple's event on October 30, so whatever you do, we'll keep you up-to-date on the details that matter.
As for the launch of the iPhone in September, Apple has again turned to Twitter to broadcast the live event. To watch, you have to go to this specific tweet and press the heart icon. If you do, Apple will send you updates on the start of the live video and detailed information on what is being announced as part of the event.
You can also watch the live video via the own page of the Apple event. You will find that the video stream starts a few minutes before the event, but that it also requires the operation of some browsers.
Not surprisingly, the video will work perfectly under Safari under MacOS and iOS. Apple says Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 will work too. Before the launch of the iPhone in September, the company also said that the "recent" versions of Chrome and Firefox could work, but could not guarantee it.
Then, if you have an Apple TV, you should be able to look through it. Owners of second and third generation Apple TV models should find it on their home screen. If you have a fourth generation or an Apple TV 4K, you may need to download the Apple Events app on the App Store.
This event should see new iPad Pro get started alongside a refurbished Apple Pencil and maybe so much more. For more details on what we can expect, we will see – and what we will not see – read the AppleInsider guide.
