Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the biggest game of the year on Nintendo Switch, is in a little over a month and will be available in December. But you will not have to wait until then to take a look at it, as Nintendo plans to give fans a last in-depth look at the Star Fighter with a Nintendo Direct specifically designed for Super Smash Bros. . The show airs today on November 1 in less than 20 minutes at the time of writing this article; it starts at 7 am, Pacific time / 10 am, Eastern time / 2 pm, Paris time. It will contain a ton of new game details – new characters, modes, as well as other details and news that can be shared – so you do not want to miss it.
The presentation will be streamed on the Nintendo website, YouTube and Twitch channels. Immediately after Direct, Nintendo will also release a live Treehouse movie that will feature other Super Smash Bros. gameplay sequences. As usual, Nintendo has not leaked any concrete details on what fans will see during the Smash show, but it seems like it will be a big problem. The Direct should last about 40 minutes – almost twice as long as the Smash Bros. Live broadcast in August – and will reveal "new information" on the upcoming fighting game. What it will be, that's what everyone guesses, but that probably includes the last playable characters in the game, which director Masahiro Sakurai had previously teased would all be unveiled before its release. The last time Nintendo aired a presentation about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the company unveiled five new playable characters: Simon and Richter Belmont of Castlevania; the new Echo Fighters Chrom and Dark Samus; and King King K. Rool, often asked, of Donkey Kong Country. The following month, during her September live presentation, Nintendo had revealed that Isabelle of Animal Crossing had also joined the list of Smash.
