This store will act as a cosmetics store that players can use in exchange for real money. According to Bethesda, the store will be purely cosmetic, so that players will not have to worry about payment items to win in the store.

As you play Fallout 76, you will earn a currency called Atoms by completing various game challenges and achievements. This currency can be used to purchase cosmetic customization items in play for your character, which can be earned entirely by playing gambling.

Once Fallout 76 is officially launched on November 14, the atoms can also be purchased separately for cash, if you wish.

The store is currently open in beta, but it does not offer any way to buy additional currencies other than those already provided. You can buy items such as clothes in this store, which will end up being an outfit that will go over your armor.

You can also gain these atoms by doing things in the game, such as making weapons and facing various challenges. This seems to be a good system set up to reward players for their on-the-job tasks.
