… Joy-Con is, I guess
There are some control options for Pokémon: Let's go, Pikachu and Eevee, but the best choice of the Nintendo switch, the Pro controller, will not be supported. I have the impression that I probably should have seen that coming.
The official Nintendo Japanese page for Pokémon: let's go confirmed as much.
Nintendo really pushed the optional Poké Ball Plus device for the Pokémon: let's go games and highlighted the possibility for players to "throw" Poké Ball with the Joy-Con controller. Another high-end version of Switch, Super Mario Party, decided not to support Pro controllers. So we are here.
It's a shame because I love the Pro controller. He is sturdy and has a little weight. It's comfortable in my hands. The battery seems to last forever. In the end, the gamepad we will miss a lot.
I will still move for Pokémon: let's go at one point, but it's disappointing.
