The fans were introduced to Overwatch the last hero of Blizzard's BlizzCon 2018 this weekend, and we've learned a lot more about McCree's previous hangout with the Deadlock gang. With the latest animated short film leaving us with a lot To unpack, one thing struck the intrigued by the more subtle stories that Blizzard does not fear: Relationships.
As with Ana, Mercy, Reinhardt and other heroes have been subject to rumors of "expedition" because of vocal lines and clues of traditions, just like Ashe. "Expedition" refers to perceived relationships in the game. There was a moment in the short animation that showed a worn-out image of McCree and the latest addition to the list, much more comfortable than normal friends. I've recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk to the editor of the latest hero, and Michael Chu responded with a "It's complicated".
Chu does not decline the fact that they are romantically involved, in fact – it seemed rather the opposite. Nevertheless, he mentioned that it was "much more complicated" than a simple etiquette, although he made fun of the terminology – particularly with regard to the relational option of Facebook.
Chu also mentioned that no one really put himself in Ashe's shoes like McCree, and he laughed saying that our favorite cowboy knew exactly how to press his buttons. It seems that both men have a very complex past, both romantic and otherwise, and Chu alluded to the fact that we could learn a lot more about this exact relationship in the future.
