Epic Games and the National Football League have teamed up to bring NFL cosmetics to Fortnite.
Beginning November 9th, players will be able to purchase the jersey of their favorite NFL team and choose any number between 0 and 99 to appear on the back of their jerseys.
It does not matter if your team is good or bad, the 32 NFL teams will be represented. You will be able to represent the team of your choice. We can almost certainly expect to see Ninja rock the Lions' jersey in the near future.
These jerseys will be on sale at 19h. AND November 9th. We do not know yet what the price of these jerseys will be, but we will share more information as we go along.
In addition, we do not have much information on the skins on which will go the jerseys. The trailer shows that default skins will wear jerseys. You may be able to browse them until you get the one you want.
It does not seem that the skins come with a kind of back bling, which makes sense since the NFL players are not wearing anything on their backs. For a better idea of what your favorite jersey looks like Fortniteyou can take a close look at the trailer that shows all the teams.
This is not the first sporty cross-over Epic Games did as well Fortnite had both skins from the Winter Olympics and the 2018 World Cup. Epic Games has already demonstrated its willingness to work with leading brands, even going as far as bringing Thanos into the game for a LTM.
If this crossover is going well, it does not seem out of place to hope to cross-over with other sports such as NBA or MLB.
