The new iPhone 2018 leaks revealed that the name of the 6.5 inch OLED iPhone will be the iPhone XS Max, as well as the expected price tags for the three models that are expected. Apple will unveil at an event on September 12th.

Apple is gearing up to announce three 2018 iPhone models, especially 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones and a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. All three devices will feature a design based on the iPhone X from last year.

Apple decides to go with the iPhone XS Max

Shortly after Apple issued invitations for the highly anticipated September 12 event, an exclusive 9to5Mac report revealed that the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones will be collectively known as the name of iPhone XS. Images of the successor of the iPhone X have also been released, but its name can be considered strange and confusing because XS can be considered both as too big (too much) or too small (XS for the little ones) . iPhone "Ten S."

A 9to5Mac tracking report, however, brings Apple's brand decisions into even more bizarre territory. Instead of the 6.5 inch OLED iPhone being named iPhone XS Plus, it will apparently be known as the iPhone XS Max.

The information, which has been confirmed by people familiar with Apple's tagging plans, replaces the long-standing "Plus" nickname with "Max," although the reason is unknown. It is also not known if future iPhone models will go with "Max" for the larger version instead of "Plus" or if it will only apply to the 2018 iPhone.

New iPhone 2018 Price Tags

At the same time, a separate report on 9to5Mac focused on pricing rumors for new iPhones. According to Macerkopf sources, the "iPhone 9" LCD will be sold for 799 euros, the iPhone XS 909 euros and iPhone XS Max 1,149 euros.

As for the German Apple Store, 9to5Mac found that the iPhone 8 was selling at 799 €, the iPhone 8 Plus at 909 € and the iPhone X at 1,149 €. This translates into the prediction that, in any territory, the 6.1 inch LCD iPhone will cost the same price as the iPhone 8, the iPhone XS like the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone XS Max like the iPhone X.

In the United States this translates to $ 699 for the LCD iPhone, $ 799 for the iPhone XS and $ 999 for the iPhone XS Max. However, this is only for basic models with 64GB storage, with 256GB models that should cost $ 150 more, although there are rumors that there would also be options of 512 GB.
