A last minute leak could reveal every new color of the iPhone for 2018 – BGR

Apple's "Autumn" iPhone event is set to take place tomorrow, and thanks to the multitude of usual leaks, we know exactly what to expect. Apple will release three new iPhones, which will probably be called iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xc (or iPhone Xr, or iPhone 9).

The iPhone X will be a specific hump at the iPhone X but will retain the same screen size and the same physical design, while the iPhone Xs Max will be a "Plus" version of 6 , 5 inches from the iPhone X. The iPhone Xc will be a spiritual successor. to the iPhone 8, with a 6.1-inch LCD screen, the face ID (and thus also the notch) of the iPhone X, and probably a slightly worse camera as high-end models. More importantly, the iPhone Xc will probably keep the price of the iPhone 8 around $ 700.

While most of the details on the different models and specifications have been leaked, one detail is still kept secret: the colors. Apple loves introducing new iPhone colors, especially when it comes to a smaller upgrade cycle. There is a good chance that Jony Ive will sit with his samples for months to choose exciting new colors.

Thanks to a leak from the Chinese social media site Weibo, we now have an idea of ​​these colors. A user has posted photos of several SIM bins that he believes come from the new iPhone. Since Apple anodizes its SIM bins in the same color as the phone's metal case, the bins can – if they are real – tell us Apple's colors.

According to the images, at least some of the new iPhones will be blue-gray, gold, red, black and silver. Assuming the Apple stays true to the stainless steel bumper of the iPhone Xs – which would make all the sense of the world – then these SIM trays seem to come from the 6.1-inch iPhone Xc. The wide variety of new colors, by the way, gives credit to the Xc name of the iPhone. The only iPhone that has already had a nickname "C" before was the iPhone 5c, which was named so because it was a bunch of colors.

Of course, leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, especially when we see only a few unused photos of a SIM tray that, frankly, could belong to another phone or just be a spare part. But if these images are accurate, they would gather some more details on the cheaper Apple iPhone and strengthen the argument for the iPhone Xc.
