We've learned a few things about the OnePlus 6T in the last few days, including the fact that the phone will have a built-in fingerprint sensor, no headphone jack, and will be available at T-Mobile, the first operator in the United States to have partnered with the manufacturer of Chinese smartphones. A new leak now tells us that the phone will not have three cameras in the back, which had already been mentioned several times.
The news comes from WinFuture Roland Quandt, who has produced a number of accurate reports on various unreleased Android devices. The blogger has got the following picture, which shows the upper half of the back of the OnePlus 6T.
As you can easily see, there is no three-lens camera on this device. Previous rumors suggested that the phone gets a 3D shooter like the Oppo R17, which has a Time-of-Flight lens in the back, in addition to a two-lens configuration. The OnePlus 6T will look a lot like the R17, these reports said. The R17 features a smaller, teardrop-shaped notch in the front, a feature expected on the OnePlus 6T.
The above image also reveals that there is no fingerprint sensor pointing to the rear under the camera module, which is located on the OnePlus 6 This proves that the phone contains an optical fingerprint reader built into the screen.
WinFuture also note that the OnePlus 6T should have a 6.41-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and a 19.5: 9 format. Otherwise, the phone should have about the same hardware as the OnePlus 6, since there is no better chipset at the moment.
The OnePlus 6T should be unveiled at some point in October, although OnePlus has announced no launch date yet.
