Nikhil "abandoned" Kumawat, a member of the OpTic India group CS: GO the team, was caught cheating during the eXTREMESLAND Asia finals. The team was immediately fired and missed the grand prize of $ 100,000. Spectators and fans began to speculate when the match was suspended for more than 20 minutes.

It took a long time to find out if he had cheated or not because Kumawat had refused to let officials view his PC. After the officials told him to stop playing the game, he closed and removed a program running in the background. The moment would have been taken in video here:

We do not know if that is the exact moment when he was found cheating. However, the manager seemed very distraught and was trying to free Kumawat's arms from the computer. The cheating software used was taken over by the B5 anti-cheat program installed by the tournament organizers.

OpTic India released the culprit and also stated that other players were not aware of the activities carried out.

That just raises the question. Have there been tournaments won by OpTic India where Kumawat cheated? As usual, it was probably not the first time, but the first time that he was caught.
