A New Fortnite: Battle Royale Weapon, The Quad Launcher, Releases Soon

Epic has been introduced to Fortnite, which is one of the most popular games in the world. Fortnite: Battle Royale's in-game The Quad Launcher is "coming soon" to the game, presumably as part of this week's update.

According to the news feed, the Quad Launcher is similar to the Rocket Launcher, with this particular weapon being capable of shooting four missiles. "Quickly fire up to rockets to blanket an area with explosive damage," the accompanying description reads. You can take a glimpse at the Quad Launcher below.

As usual, Epic has not formally announced the Quad Launcher on any of Fortnite's social media channels, so it remains to be seen when the item will debut in the game. However, it does not really happen in the news feeds, so the Quad Launcher will likely arrive with this week's patch.

Epic has yet to reveal when said patches are rolling out for all platforms; Fortnite updates every Tuesday, last week's – Patch 6.01 – arrived a little later than usual. That update likewise added a new item to the game: the Chiller, a type of trap that can freeze an opponent's feet together, causing them to slide around.
