Update: We are playing the beta even though some players are apparently downloading Fallout 76 again after the thrower had problems earlier in the day. Bethesda says it's an investigation.
We are actively investigating a problem that caused PC players to download the # Fallout76 B.E.T.A file again. If you see a progress bar, please allow the download. Thank you for your patience as we work to solve this problem.October 30, 2018
Original story: I'm sitting here today watching Bethesda launcher's Fallout 76 beta timer, knowing that it would expire two hours earlier and asking me why. All that Bethesda published indicated that the beta version of PC would start at 4 pm Pacific time, but that the stopwatch was two hours early, and that it was clicked on, it indicated a departure at 2 pm I even usefully (but not usefully) tried to report this to Bethesda on Twitter:
I am at Pacific time and bad in math, but da fuh? @Fallout pic.twitter.com/N6NZ74Rs4JOctober 30, 2018
When the timer expired, the launcher told me (possibly) that my copy of Fallout 76 was being unlocked, then posted a "preloaded" button that I clicked on, and then tried to download the preload again. Which is weird! It is preloaded, it is not necessary to preload it again. J & # 39; hope. (Update: he is now making me download the preload again. Sigh!)
I foolishly restarted the launcher, and then I became unable to reconnect to my account, receiving an error message and being asked to check my username and password. . Finally, I returned, but my game library is currently completely empty. The forums on the Bethesda website also display a message 504.
Bethesda is studying the issue and hopes the problem will be solved soon. In the meantime, Bethesda is asking us not to click on her launcher. Seriously, do not click on anything.
PC # Fallout76 B.E.T.A. Players: We are aware of a problem with the client and we are investigating. Do not click any client button yet.October 30, 2018
