This is a lot of cameras for a single phone.

In September, Samsung released its new Galaxy A7, the first Samsung phone with three rear cameras. But why stop there? It seems that a Samsung phone with four cameras could be at hand.

A photo of a four-camera phone has been posted by Evan Blass on Twitter. For what it's worth, Blass has a long balance sheet leaked phones not released. You can check the photo of the phone below:

Although the tweet does not specify which phone it is, a report from AllAboutSamsung indicates that it could be the next Galaxy A9. Samsung's Galaxy A line tends to be reserved for mid-range phones from the company – compared to the Galaxy s and Galaxy Note series – but Samsung said this would bring more premium features to its midrange devices.

This four-camera phone includes an 8 MPa ultra wide-angle camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera, a 24 MP main camera and a 5 MP depth camera. With all these different cameras serving different purposes, the Samsung Galaxy A9 may be able to take a wide range of photos.

There is no official word on the release date of this phone. Samsung hosts an event on October 11, and in his event, he promises "4X the fun." This slogan can very well refer to the four cameras of this phone. If that's the case, we could hear more on this phone very soon.

Samsung declined to comment.
