According to rumor, the Galaxy S10 will have up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of built-in storage – BGR

This year is coming to an end, which means that the rumor season for the Galaxy S10 is already well advanced before its launch in early 2019. In recent days we have seen many reports detailing the Infinity-O display of the phone, anti-leak screen protectors included, as well as the 5G handset version, which should be the true flagship of the S10 range.

Samsung Mobile is doing everything to try its luck after a year less than brilliant. But will we have a Galaxy S10 version with 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage? At least one source thinks so.

Citing a report from Hong Kong analysts, Chinese blog This is the house On Monday, a Galaxy S10 model will have 12 GB of memory and 1 TB of built-in flash memory, features that you will not usually find on a smartphone.

This year, however, we have seen the first phone with 10GB of RAM and smartphone manufacturers have increased the built-in storage to 512GB. Apple and Samsung both sell 512GB phones, the Galaxy Note 9 offering users a theoretical maximum of 1 TB of storage when microSD cards of 512 GB are used.

The report fails to identify which versions of Galaxy S10 would have this amount of RAM and local storage. But if these predictions are real, only the most expensive model of the line would get these specifications. The RAM of the cheaper models should not exceed 8 GB, while the storage will probably start at 64 GB or 128 GB.

Samsung is expected to launch four separate versions of the Galaxy S10 next year, including a cheaper model with a 5.8-inch flat screen, as well as two more expensive versions including curved screens and dual-purpose cameras and triple-objective, respectively. The 5G model is supposed to have an even bigger 6.7-inch screen and four rear cameras. Samsung is expected to unveil Galaxy S10 phones sometime in February, likely at the MWC 2019, and launch them by March.
