Square Enix has been working on the remake of Final Fantasy 7 for years. However, the studio did not reveal much about the game. Now, Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that, until the release of Kingdom Kingdom 3 is over, do not expect anything from Final. Fantasy 7 Remake.
In a recent Q & A with fans of World End With You: Final Remix, a fan asked Tetsuya Nomura when fans could play the remake.
According to Tetsuya, he works on both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3. He indicated that he was focusing on KH3 for now. Once Tetsuya has finished his work on the game, he will focus on the remake of Final Fantasy.
"Maybe everyone is not aware, but I'm working on a remake of Final Fantasy VII … [laughs]. I'm concentrating on Kingdom Hearts III for the moment, but once that's done, I'll go there.
The release of Kingdom Hearts 3 is scheduled for January 2019, in a few months. This means that right out of KH3, the studio will go into full production on Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Square Enix announced the remake in 2015 at the E3. Since then, Square Enix has remained silent about the game. However, rumors and leaks have kept us abreast of the development of FF7 Remake.
Tetsuya also hinted at the possible publication of a compilation title for the remake of Final Fantasy 7. According to Tetsuya, he talked about it to the producer of the game, but still has not decided.
