All Google Assistant headphones now have the Translate button

Over the past year, the number of Google Assistant helmets available has multiplied. Unfortunately, this is not due to the success of Pixel Buds, but to various brands that add direct access to notifications and Google Search on Android. Spotted by Droid-Life, a Pixel Buds support page was updated yesterday to indicate how "Google Translate is available on all helmets and Android phones optimized for wizards". This futuristic feature was previously the flagship feature of Pixel Buds when paired with Pixel or Pixel 2.

At the time, Google was explaining how it was initially an exclusive future for Pixel because of the required audio routing on the phone. A year later, it is available on all Google Assistant helmets and all Android devices running version 6.0 Marshmallow or later.

Users can start a translation by holding down the Wizard button on their headset and saying "Help me interpret Spanish" or any of the 40 languages ​​currently supported.

This will launch Google Translate in this chat pairing on your phone. You can communicate with the headset while holding your Android device on which your interlocutor can listen and talk.

At Google's 10/9 event this week, Google released Pixel USB-C headsets with real-time translation, while LG launched the Tone Platinum SE and Tone Ultra SE models in August with the same features. .

The available Google Assistant headphones include the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, Earin, Google Pixel Buds, JBL and Sony WH-1000XM3 models. Earlier this year, the latter has updated a large number of existing devices with Google Assistant.
